Mr. Grove will be speaking and answering your questions on the subject we all want to know but find so confusing, publishing.

He is an editor and publisher and runs a growing publishing company called
Hidden Brook Press from which he publishes poetry contest anthologies and
books of every genre for authors around the world.

Richard is the founder of the Canadian Poet Registry. He was an active member of the Canadian Poetry Association for ten years serving on the executive for seven years including five as President.  He is the founding president of both the CCLA (2004) – Canada Cuba Literary Alliance -
CCLA Federation of Photographers (2006).   He is the founding president
of the Brighton Arts Council and the co-founder of the Purdy Country Literary Festival & CCLA Art & Lit Fest. Aug 5th 2007

He has been invited by a number of literary groups as Feature Speaker on various topics in Cuba, Germany, USA, New Zealand and Canada.  He was also the Feature Author as publisher/poet in the October 1998 issue of “The Treasure Chest” published out of Virginia, USA and Feature Poet in “Poetry Canada” in 2004.

Lynn Philip Hodgson has dedicated half of his life to uncovering the most detailed secrets of Camp-X.

On March 7th 2005, Lynn won the "Lifetime Achievement Award" for 2004. This award is
issued by the Ontario Heritage Foundation and reads as follows:
           "Presented to: Lynn Philip Hodgson
            In appreciation of a lifetime of volunteer work to identify,
            preserve, protect and promote our province's rich heritage."

R. D. Roy, Poet

R. D. Roy,  Poet - releases his collaborative collection of poems June 2009 - Life & Death in Cheap Motels

R. D. Roy was a feature reader at the International Book Fair in Havana (2007, 2008), the Al Purdy People's Poetry festival, 2007, Hot Sauced Words, Toronto (2008). He is the "Official House Poet" to the Organic Underground Restaurant in Belleville, and a member of The League of Canadian Poets, PEN Canada, and the Canada-Cuba Literary Alliance. Roy is a contributing editor to the CCLA's quarterly, The Ambassador.
June 27th  he  released his collaborative collection of poems that examine
"Life & Death in Cheap Motels"
with Kingston writer/poet Jen Londry.

R. D. Roy will be reading from his up-coming new collection "In the 4th Person",  
which has a theme of our common humanity. The book is coming out in about 6 months.

 

Chris Faiers, Poet

Chris Faiers, Poet
 

Marmora resident Chris Faiers has been a publishing poet for 40 years.
Chris has been a groundbreaker in the development of English-language haibun, narrative prose interspersed with haiku.
Chris was the inaugural recipient of the Milton Acorn People's Poetry Award in 1978 for his book Foot Through the Ceiling (Aya/Mercury Press).
He is currently writing short haibun about his explorations on the wild trails in north Hastings County, Ontario. He is also busy caretaking ZenRiver Gardens, his meditation retreat on the upper Moira River.

Mary Lou Dumka, Writer
 

Mary Lou Dumka began working as a photojournalist in 2003. She contributed to the Shield Newspapers, Cobourg Daily Star, Port Hope Evening Guide, and Colbourne Chronicle until 2007.

She’s met the NaNoWriMo challenge to write a 50,000 word novel in one month in 2007 and 2008. She attends a Creative Writing Course at Loyalist College and is working on a third manuscript.   

Born in Toronto, Mary Lou now resides with husband Jim in the family cottage on Rice Lake and works at the Trent Hills Public Library.
