Joan
Sutcliffe, Toronto, ON
POEM:
Sad Earth
Originally from Yorkshire, England, moved to Canda and
became interested in eastern philosophy and mysticism.
Joan joined the Theosophical Society where she edited
the monthly News magazine for many years and wrote
articles and poems for other theosophical publications.
Joan is a member of The Ontario Poetry Society and the
Canadian Federation of Poets

Andrew is a 19 year old male from Sunderland, Ontario.
He enjoys reading, writing, and playing the guitar. he
has also been in various plays and dramas through the
ACTT drama team in Port Perry, through his church.

Mother Nature
Carol was born in Nova Scotia and now lives in Oshawa,
Ontario. She has been a winner in various competitions,
been published online and written a Chapbook titled "The
Road of Life."

Anna Halawa
is thirteen years old and began writing short stories as
a young child, which then evolved into more complex
forms of poetry and varying literature. She has many
hobbies, some of which are horseback riding, figure
skating and skiing, but writing is number one. As she
enters high school next year, she is positive her
passion for writing will grow.

Christopher A. Betty
Poem:
Lie
Christopher lives in Ajax and was
born in Kingston Jamaica. In recent years he has begun
to grow more as a person and expand his thinking,
ideals, and ambitions. Towards the end of 2008 he
started writing poetry, using pen and paper as the
conduit to expressing his thoughts and views.

Gloria is a sixteen year old
student in Ontario who enjoys writing, reading, and the
arts. She hopes to write more books and poetry and
publish them in the future.

Alice Aurora McClintock
Poem:
Natural Causes
Alice is a graduate of St. Mary's Secondary School who
is preparing to attend Trinity College at the University
of Toronto in the fall. She is a voracious reader, and
has been writing since the age of eight. She finished
her first novel last summer, and has many other projects
underway!
