Rules & Criteria
Entries are judged on originality and the sense of craft of
poetry shown in the work.
Poems must be
previously unpublished and this includes web appearances
We do not accept simultaneous submits
NO FEE - All submissions (up to 3 poems):
Poems not to exceed 55 MAX lines and the stanza breaks count as lines.
Line length NOT exceeding 40 - 50 characters,
including punctuation and spaces.
Single spaced 12 pt font. No fancy fonts
( use Arial or Times New Roman).

An Oshawa resident who is pursuing her lifelong interest in
writing.
She is the leader of Inkspot writing circle as well as a
member of Writers' Circle of Durham Region.
Most of her writing is poetry or short fiction. She plans to
complete a novel in the future. Ann's dream is to die at age
100 in the middle of writing a poem.

Mary is a retired small business owner manager. She spent many years
teaching bunka embroidery and other kinds of needlework in her
store on King Street West. Since retiring Mary has studied
Reiki, Meditation, Brain Gym®, and Writing. At the present
time she is working on compiling the history of her family and
writing her memoirs
